In Transformation…
We are currently transforming Zurich’s former city kitchen for the interim use of DasProvisorium. With the project we continue our investigation on the building that started 2020 with our master thesis. The first phase will be completed in September 2026 and opens to the public during Open House Zürich.
Supported by the IKEA Foundation, we continue the project as an experimental process – researching and developing new formats as well as a spatial prototype around food as a collective practice.
Aktuell transformieren wir die ehemalige Stadtküche Zürich für die Zwischennutzung durch DasProvisorium. Mit dem Projekt führen wir unsere Auseinandersetzung mit dem Gebäude fort, die 2020 mit unserer Masterarbeit begann. Die erste Phase wird im September 2026 abgeschlossen und öffnet im Rahmen von Open House Zürich ihre Türen.
Unterstützt durch die IKEA Stiftung geht das Projekt als experimenteller Prozess weiter – durch Recherche und Entwicklung von neuen Formaten sowie einem räumlichen Prototyp rund um Ernährung als gemeinschaftliche Praxis.
